Welcome to IHHA

The Irish Hard of Hearing Association

The IHHA is an association for people who acquire a hearing loss after developing their verbal communication skills. We are a small Irish charitable and voluntary organisation who campaign for greater awareness about hearing loss, greater access to services and who generate support for each other.  Our main objective is to assist all persons who suffer from a hearing loss.  We  advise public bodies such as DART and LUAS services on how best they can help hard of hearing people who use their systems.  We also check out hard of hearing facilities in all public places that must by law provide access to those with disabilities.  If you have a hearing problem and need advice from people with the same disability, do get in touch with us.  There are many ways in which we may be able to help.  Many of these are listed in the drop down menus

This year’s AGM was held on Saturday April 21st 2012.
