Public Buildings must be accessible.

As legislation is updated , new building or old building being refurbished most meet the standards set out in Section M of the Building code.

The legislation is trying to ensure good accessfor everyone   including people with physical, sensory or indeed any disability or health issue.

Private premises do not  come under the code yet on a mandatory basis.

From a hard of hearing perspective good signage and loop system are what we focus on but there are many general issues that effects all of us as ordinary members of the public
