Who is entitled to free hearings aids? |
Answer |
People on a medical card or Children under 16 are entitled to free aids. Medical cards are available to people on low incomes. Application need to be made to the HSE. See http://www.hse.ie/eng/services/Find_a_Service/entitlements/Medical_Cards/ for details. Note these aids may not be good enough if you have a severe of profound hearing loss. |

Can I get a grant for a hearing aid? |
